YARAT Contemporary Art Space holds the next meeting to share its thoughts about the modern art as well as to conduct discussions with the event participants.
You are invited to participate in such discussions and attend the event to be held on 17 August, 2016 with the participation of philosopher Mail Yagub.
MAN IN MODERN PHILOSOPHY AND HIS LIFE CHANGES
What is modern philosophy, and is man a key one in modern philosophy? Is man alone? Why does a man become pessimistic? How the infighting of man is analyzed in modern philosophy? How the suffers of man in modern Azerbaijani literature are analyzed?
At the event, the topic "Resistance" will be discussed. Poems of modern Azerbaijani poets written on this topic will be performed.
Mail Yaqub was born in Jalilabad region of Azerbaijan in 1979. He is a graduate of the Khazar University and Tehran University. He is Phd in philosophy. In 2011, he defended a doctoral thesis on "Critical Evaluation of Nietzsche's Genealogy of Morals." Since 2008 he has taught "Modern European Philosophy", "Moral philosophy", "Introduction to Philosophy", and "Philosophy of Religion” subjects at the Department of Philosophy of Khazar University. His two books "Metaphysical Thoughts" and "Philosophy of Religion" have been published.
