ARTIM: CALL FOR YOUNG CURATORS

ARTIM Project Space is looking for a talented, young curator, who will get a chance to organize an exhibition at ARTIM Project Space. Selected curator will be able to implement his/her exhibition on May 2019. The exhibition will last for one month. A limited production budget is foreseen. 

The jurors are looking for new curators who fit in the following definition: 

• Be in the early stage of her/his career

• Show significant curatorial potential with a network in the local art scene

• Engaged in contemporary social discourse

• Interested in diverse medias of artistic practice (photography, video, installation, new media)

• CV including contact details (email, phone number)

• Exhibition proposal (400 words)

• List of artists and proposed works (if works will be commissioned, a proposal for the works is needed)

• Ideas for the educational program (lectures, workshops, movie screenings etc. )

About ARTIM 

ARTIM is directed at young Azerbaijani artists with an intention to support and encourage emergent talent to grow. The program has a designated exhibition space in Icheri Sheher that was conceived as a platform for experimenting and professionally showcasing art. Artworks resulting from the program are exhibited at the ARTIM Project Space.
