ARTIM ROOMS: NEW TALES GROUP EXHIBITION

YARAT Contemporary Art Space is to present “New tales” within ARTIM Rooms Project.

Second exhibition of ARTIM Rooms Project will bring together independent projects by young artists Fuzuli Aliyev, Mina Abbasova, Vusal Ahmedov, Rizone, Leyla Gabulova, Ahmad Nabiyev and Roman Gojayev. Each project is an experiment, emphasizing psychological and social parallels and in the meanwhile being not related to one another.

In his environmental composition named Goodbye, Fuzuli Aliyev is trying to demonstrate pivotal moment of his life through his unique calligraphy style.

Through his autobiographical collage, Ahmed Nabiyev by means of different expression tools refers to different moments of life.

Vusal Ahmadov’s Keep the Change installation reflects on “values” through recent raise in public transport fees, which has caused resonance amid citizens.

Roman Gojayev’s performance named I wouldn’t wish a harm to tip of your hair, let it comes to your life focuses on the social-mental stereotypes existing in our country in the context of early marriage problems.

Pulse video project by Mina Abbasova presents human eyes as the only true thing that do not hide honest and true emotions determining our state of mind.

In his Half-Awake installation, Rizone reflects on the tools of various periods that massively brainwash people.

In her installation, Leyla Gabulova uses silkworm as a sample to highlight some social issues that form a personality.

ARTIM Rooms Project offers independent rooms for young artists, curators and other creative people. Everyone is welcome to apply to implement their ideas in one or more of the available spaces at ARTIM. The aim is to create a living, independent organism, a lively interdisciplinary platform for discussion and experiment, growing and connecting through creativity.
