ARTIM TALK: FIZULI ALIYEV (FIZZOCHI)

YARAT Contemporary Art Space is pleased to announce the “De/Construction Talk” by Street Artist Fizuli Aliyev aka Fizzochi at ARTIM Project Space.

Fizuli Aliyev (b. 1990, Baku) а.к.а Fizzochi will present his body of work and invites the audience for an open discussion. The presentation will lead behind-the-scene stories of his artworks as well as his practice. Fizuli’s works explore social and personal topics in a unique artistic language that is located between calligraphy and graffiti art. He describes the street as the best gallery and possibilities of creative expression.

According to his idea, “Beauty should be available to the sun”; His art is partially executed in the stencil technique, conveying social commentary, and became an important contribution to the urban underground scene of Baku.

De/Construction Talks is a series of talks that takes place during the de/installation period at ARTIM. It provides a platform for critical discussion, brainstorming and exchange for young creative people to share and reflect on their body of work with a broader audience.
