YARAT Contemporary Art Space is delighted to invite you to the screening of 'Araf', directed by a short feature by Fidan Jafarova and Tofig Rzayev (Azerbaijan). The screening will be organized as a event of YARAT Film Club.

“Araf” is a short film about war that was made in the stylistics of art house cinema. This film unravels a story of a family falling apart against the backdrop of war. The title has a strong symbolic meaning, as in Islam “Araf” denotes a place between Hell and Paradise.

Cast: Basti Jafarova, Sabir Mammadov, Konul Iskander and Adil Demirov

Film will be shown in Azerbaijani.
