YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites you to embark on a meta-detective journey through a philosophical fiction film “You Are Here” (2010) by experimental video artist Daniel Cockburn.

Throughout the film, you will witness how fantasy and reality intersect, sorting through forgotten archives with the protagonist. What is the meaning hidden in the mysterious documents that resist attempts to reveal their secrets?

About director

Daniel Cockburn is a Canadian performance artist and film director. He graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in film studies in 1999. Cockburn's first feature film has been presented at over forty film festivals worldwide. The film won both the Jay Scott Prize in 2010, and the EMAF Award in 2011
