YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites to screening the fantasy film Space Odyssey 2001 directed by American director Stanley Kubrick.

The picture talks about a series of meetings of people with mysterious black monoliths that affect the course of human evolution. The first took place at the dawn of history. The second time people find a monolith on the moon in the era of human exploration of near-Earth space. The monolith emits powerful radiation towards Jupiter, and then it was decided to send an expedition there, commanded by astronauts Dave Bowman and Frank Poole, as well as the HAL 9000 super intelligent computer, which has almost complete control over the ship.
