CULTURAL REBOOT: TIMUR BADALBEYLI

A quarter of a century in Taganka theatre. An uplifting lie.

Dear all, on June 16 and 17, new exciting encounters and events await you as part of the Cultural Reboot project.

Our next guest speaker is Timur Badalbeyli, a theater and film actor, director, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Timur Badalbeyli has graduated from Moscow Higher Theater School named after B. Shchukin (Y. Lyubimov's course). Upon graduation, he was invited to join the team of the legendary Taganka Theater, where he soon became a leading actor.

For his role in the film "Farewell, Southern City" Timur was awarded the Best Actor Award of the International Film Festival "East-West" (2006) and the International Film Festival of Arthouse Films in Batumi (2007).

Workshops for actors and directors

A creative approach and methodology applied by the world-famous theater reformer Yuri Lyubimov. Conditional total theater model and the upbringing of a “synthetic” actor. Discussion on the theme of the author's theater and the prospects of the postmodernist theater.
