FREESTYLE: PARALYMPIC CHILDREN JOURNEY TO THE WORLD OF FAIRY TALES

YARAT Contemporary Art Space presents an event entitled “Journey to the world of fairy tales” with the participation of Paralympic children dedicated to the International Children's Day.

15 children-athletes and 62 pupils of secondary school No. 234 will perform in the roles of fantastic heroes of Azerbaijani and international fairy tales. Through this event, young athletes will demonstrate their ability to integrate into society and also reveal their talents not related to sports.

The event was organized by the National Paralympic Committee with the support of UNICEF.

Organizational support is provided by YARAT and Baku Transport Agency.

In 2013, the Children's Paralympic Committee under the National Paralympic Committee of Azerbaijan was established with the support of UNICEF.

To date, with the support of Paralympic Committee, about 200 children with disabilities have been engaged in 8 sports.
