YARAT CENTRE: CRUMBLING DOWN, UP AND UP WE CLIMB GROUP SHOW

YARAT Contemporary Art Space is presenting a new "Crumbling down, up and up we climb" group exhibition. Curated by Suad Garayeva-Maleki and Björn Geldhof, the exhibition explores attitudes towards cultural histories and monumentality as well as the constant human condition of entropy and re-awakening. Curator of the exhibition Björn Geldhof said that the exhibition features different cultures. According to him, the main objective of the exhibition is to make these works of art unforgettable.

Through works by Reza Aramesh, Vajiko Chachkhiani, Jan Fabre, Goshka Macuga and Stephen Rhodes, it draws upon the ambivalent ambition to move forward, while continuously struggling with loss and forgetfulness. Belgian artist Jan Fabre shared his views about the works demonstrated in the exhibition.
