YARAT ACADEMY 2020: JOIN OUR UNIVERSE!

YARAT Contemporary Art Space is launching the next spring session of YARAT Academy. The program comprises 3 months' period: March, April, May 2020.

Theme: Collective memory: Rituals, Heritage, Archives and Community

Skills that you will gain:

Research skills
Recording and archival skills
Analytical and systematical examination skills

Participants will:

- Get introduced to interdisciplinary approach to the concept of collective/ social and individual memory, archival paradigm and identity in the context of contemporary art

- Meet with internationally and locally renowned artists, art historians, curators, researchers and academics

- Take part at meetings and panel discussions

- Apply obtained skills on practice by completing the course assignment

Interpretation of lectures will be provided (all foreign lectures of YARAT Academy are interpreted into Azerbaijani language, simultaneously or consecutively)
