FILM CLUB: WOMEN IN MOTION PROJECT FILMS

YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites you to a premiere of 4 short films created in frames of the “Women in Motion” project.

The program consists of 4 short films: “Luna Park”, “A Girl with a skateboard” and “Such a sweet life”. The program will include several scenes from a documentary film “They Give Love”, which is currently at the stage of editing. All the films were made by debutant female screenwriters and directors with the support of the local Cinex Productions company. After the show, all viewers will have the opportunity to talk to the authors of the films, and take part in the Q & A session.

The “Women in Motion” project was organized in 2016 by the producer and director Maria Ibrahimova. With the support of the US Embassy in Azerbaijan, this unique project is designed to identify and support the talented women of our country who want to pursue a career in film.

The films will be shown in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages.
