YARAT Contemporary Art Space is pleased to announce the online screening of "Stalking Chernobyl: Exploration after Apocalypse" by Iara Lee
On the occasion of the International Chernobyl Disaster Remembrance Day on 26th of April, we will co-host the online screening of the movie “Stalking Chernobyl: exploration after the apocalypse” directed by Iara Lee (a Cultures Of Resistance film) – a documentary that examines the underground culture of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Three decades after the world's most infamous nuclear disaster adventurers and artists have begun to explore anew the mysterious landscape, where trees and forest animals have reclaimed land abandoned by villagers.
The film can be accessed online, for free, from April 16 to April 26.
