LITERATURE CLUB: PUBLIC READING BIG IN JAPAN

YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites you to the reading of the play “Big in Japan” by playwright Ismail Iman, which was written in 2020 and has already visited many drama festivals and competitions.

“Big in Japan” included in the list of the best plays of the 2019/2020 season by Russian theater expert and theater critic Pavel Rudnev.

Famous actors and TV presenters will take part in the reading. Without disclosing the names of all participants, we promise that it will be interesting!

“Big in Japan” is a story about a painful and inevitable jump into adulthood, with many questions but few answers, in which the world shrinks to the size of an old flat roof. The microphone is rustling, recording another podcast, Alphaville is singing in the speakers with a hit from the past, because things are easy when you’re big in Japan.
