THEATRE CLUB: MATHILDA PERFORMANCE

YARAT Theatre Club invites you to the demonstration of “Mathilda” play within the frame of “English Children Theatre 2130” by Ilaya Faig.

“English Children Theatre 2130” is a theater for English-speaking children of Baku, Tbilisi, and Stockholm, which was founded in 2015 by Ilaya Faiq. The theater stages classical plays based on international fairy- tales, such as “Alice in Wonderland”, “The Lion King”, “Snow White, and the Seven Dwarfs”, also plays of Nizami Ganjavi’s and Uzeyir Hajibeyov’s works.

Ilaya Faig – has experience in Drama and play for over 15 years. In addition, she has recently passed a course of "Drama for children with special needs" in Stockholm, Sweden.

The play “Matilda” is about a little girl, who is a subject of bullying at home and at school. The main idea of the play is to let the children know that every single child is a personality and has a right to be heard, to defend themselves.

The event will be held in English.
