FREESTYLE: ANTON RIPATTI (RUSSIA)

YARAT Contemporary Art Space is hosting an amazing show by Anton Ripatti, a psychedelic singer-songwriter from Perm, Russia.

The event organised in frame YARAT Freestyle project, an open platform for everyone who looks to engage creatively with a broad and diverse audience. YARAT Freestyle aims to set up a scene for creative groups and individuals and is open to actors, dancers, performance artists, musicians and other cultural practitioners. Anyone with a project or an idea can reach out to us.

Some people said: "What about Anton Ripatti's songs? They are unusual. You can hear them perfectly used in some cool European indie film. They have a darkness to them and a sort of mystery with the mix of languages sung in this electric Tom Waits sorta style".

Cocktails that contain many types of liquor: blues, psychedelia, guitar feedback, jazz, ambient, German cabaret, rock'n'roll, french chanson, noir, carnival, absurd, tube vibe and sincerity.

On the stage all this accompanies the David Lynch style, theatrical performance, after which astonishment and bewilderment gives way to unbridled delight: thunder - smoke - piercing light - haunting darkness - intriguing cinema... The ambiance of love - fear - beauty - insanity - suspicion - exhileration. He has great experience performing live in East and West Europe, Russia and in USA.
