FREESTYLE: WORLD DANCE DAY

YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites you to the World Dance day celebration. This special day devoted to the different dance styles initiated by UNESCO in 1982.

The solemn performance at YARAT is also dated to 90 anniversaries of Roza Jalilova, the Honored actress of Azerbaijan, choreographer-ballet master, live legend, coryphaeus, gentleman of the Award “Sharaf”.

Roza Jalilova made an invaluable contribution to the development of dance in Azerbaijan, created new school which includes classics and folklore and demostrated to the world beauty and wealth of national dances.

The program of the evening is full of bright and colourful dances of people of the world: Latin American and modern style, hip-hop and break.
