FREESTYLE: ART OF SPEAKING PECHA-KUCHA

YARAT Contemporary Art Space in collaboration with "Azerbaijan Public Speaking Competition" (APSC) invites you to the “Art of Speaking” public speaking contest.

The goal of this event is to help participants to developed and polish their creative thinking, interest in art, rhetoric, communication and  leadership skills through educational, entertaining and interactive programs.

The program has 2 stages and will be available in three languages: Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages. The first level of the program is called "Pecha-Kucha" game for school students, after which students will be given a guided tour at the museum.

"Pecha-Kucha" is a form of storytelling. During the game participants will see and comment 20 slides and  will be given 20 seconds to examine each slide. Each round will last 6 minutes and 40 seconds. Questions will be related to design, architecture, photo, hobby, collections, art, etc.

“Azerbaijan Public Speaking Competition” (APSC) is a platform for future leaders acting in Azerbaijan, applying international experience. APSC is the famous partner of the ESU “The English-Speaking Union” with more than 100 years' experience in Great Britain. Within cooperation, winners annually go to London for participation in the international competition.
